(Hello) and miigwetch, (thank you) for visiting my website.
I hope you'll enjoy reading about McKenney & Hall's incredible portraits from the 19th Century, also known as "The Golden Age of the American Indian."
When I originally became interested in the images and began studying their history, I never thought I would actually see them in-person much less own one. And now I feel a responsibility to not only pay tribute to these legendary chiefs of the past, but also preserve their history as well. I hope you'll enjoy learning about them as much as I do.
Visit "My Blog" for all the latest news and information by, for and about Saginaw Chippewas. My blogroll also includes links to other Native news and shopping websites.
This project is actually a learning experience for me, and as it evolves I hope you'll come to find it an informative resource.

"Among the Indians there have been no written laws. Customs handed down from generation to generation have been the only laws to guide them. Every one might act different from what was considered right did he choose to do so, but such acts would bring upon him the censure of the Nation. This fear of the Nation's censure acted as a mighty band, binding all in one social, honorable compact." -Kahgegabowh (Ojibwa Chief, 1818-1863)
